Founder & Executive Director

Erika R. McCall, MS.Ed

Erika R. McCall founded Go For Yours after writing Go For Yours, the book that started it all. On the book tour, she met a young swimmer on Chicago's South Side whose Olympic dreams were limited by the cost of classes she couldn't afford, and she set out to close the gap between talent and access.

Since then, Go For Yours has reached more than 1,500 young people through the Dream Experience fellowship, leadership programs, film initiatives and scholarships. The first Go For Yours Fund scholar, Thelonious Stokes, became the first African American man to graduate from the Florence Academy of Art in Italy.

With nearly a decade in youth development, Erika holds a bachelor's degree in Community Health Education and a master's degree in Adult and Higher Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs. She studied at Illinois State University and Northern Illinois University, and she is based in Los Angeles.

Program Director

Jonathan Doss

Jonathan Doss leads school and campus partnerships at Go For Yours and helps shape the Dream Experience. He brings more than a decade of experience in education, operations and mission-driven leadership. That includes serving as Director of Programs & Campus Engagement at Learning by Design Charter School in Los Angeles and Associate Director of Operations at Valor Collegiate Academies in Nashville, where he led a $1 million campus renovation.

Jonathan has designed scholarship programs, built inclusive school cultures and served on the board of Creative Artists of Tennessee. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is based in Los Angeles.

Program Coordinator

Raina Jenkins

Raina Jenkins supports programs across Go For Yours, from applicant and fellow communications to onboarding and events. Since joining in 2025, she has helped promote the Dream Experience with pitch decks and branded graphics and helped plan a networking event that brought together 27 students and young professionals.

A storyteller at heart, Raina has created short-form content for the FAMU–FSU College of Engineering, including Reels that reached more than 400,000 views. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Florida A&M University and a Master of Science in Public Interest Media Communication from Florida State University.

Dream Experience Program Coordinator

Jayme Redmond

Jayme leads the 2027 Dream Experience, overseeing planning and the fellow experience and working alongside the Dream Leaders. Her Go For Yours story started in 2023 as a Dream Experience participant. She went on to become a Dream Leader and then the program's Virtual Workshop Coordinator, and now she's leading the experience that first welcomed her.

Jayme is a senior at Clark Atlanta University, majoring in Psychology.
